With several major proposed projects in the North Lake Tahoe area still moving through the review process, the Placer County Board of Supervisors will postpone their quarterly Tahoe meeting in July until Sept. 13.
The board will meet July 26 in Auburn at the Community Development Resource Center and return to its chambers in Auburn for its meeting Aug. 9.
The Martis Valley West Specific Plan Project is slated for a Sept. 13 meeting in Tahoe, so the board can consider that proposal in the Lake Tahoe area.
The Village at Squaw Valley project is scheduled for consideration by the Placer County Planning Commission Aug. 11 in a morning meeting in eastern Placer County, with the exact location still to be determined.
That evening, the North Tahoe Regional Advisory Council will have its regularly scheduled monthly meeting at 6 p.m. at the North Tahoe Event Center in Kings Beach.
“Both the Martis Valley West and Village at Squaw Valley projects have generated tremendous community interest, so it’s critical that we consider them in Tahoe to give our residents every opportunity to attend and have a say,” said District 5 Supervisor Jennifer Montgomery, in whose district the proposed projects fall.
The Sept. 13 board of supervisors meeting will be held at the North Tahoe Event Center in Kings Beach.
